Custom Work: Truly Personalized Engagement Ring- Butterfly and Ballet

Kate loves ballet and butterflies.  Jose loves Kate.  He wanted a delicate engagement ring, but aside from that did not have an idea about the look.  Getting to know Kate through Jose's description I learned about these two passions.  At first I wondered how to combine butterflies with ballet, and finally came up with this design.  The butterflies are holding the center stone, and the pattern on the wings are feet in ballet shoes en pointe.
