When I was first in the jewelry business, my insurance company insisted that I install a safe in my home, which, with so many doormen I thought was silly, unnecessary. The moment I put my jewelry away for the first time - heard that big door clang and the lock slide into place - - WOW. It truly was a new feeling of comfort. Sure- people are important- not things. And still- it's a good feeling when your 'stuff' is safe. Be sure your treasures become future heirlooms.
