The backstory: I showed my jewelry on 64 cruises over five years. On sea days I would also teach about pearls, and teach my super-easy pearl stringing technique. It's so easy, I can teach anyone in a day... even a woman with only one arm, and a few toddlers as their astonished mothers watched.
For the classes I needed to have a great selection of materials so people with all different styles could make what they want.... everything from fine jewelry, pearls and gemstone beads, to fun and funky, delicate to bold, etc. I bought materials all over the world... and then... stopped cruising. I also shifted my work from selling my own line, to creating for others to sell in their name, so I am not even making things anymore.
