This interesting doll is meant to hang on the wall, and actually, it's so cool that until a good home is found, I am enjoying her on my wall now. You can see in the photos this doll is not designed to stand, and that a small loop is attached to the back of the neck to allow her to easily sit on a nail or hook. The movement in the shape of the doll makes her appear to have jumped or be dancing- it shows a flowing movement. She is carrying a bundle of sticks on her back, perhaps for fire kindling.
Handmade, all fabric, clearly one-of-a-kind. I have tried to research the origins of this but have not found anything comparable. Excellent condition.
