Biography:
Carol Kardon attended Bennington College, the Art Students League, N.Y.C., the Barnes Foundation and the University of Penn Graduate School of Fine Arts. She works in both oil, pastel and pencil, and focuses on landscape and still life. She has been designated a Master Pastelist by the Pastel Society of America. She has received over fifty awards, including a Pew Foundation Grant, and has had numerous one person shows. She teaches at the Wayne Art Center, the Main Line Center of Art, and various workshops.She was associated with the Summa Gallery, N.Y.C. for over twenty five years.
